The Overflowing Cup 1

I could say this is a blue rope tree, because of the minerals in the water where it grows, but most think of this one as a 'bishop' tree... there has been a bit more done on the fold, but will wait until get it all done before posting [it could have been done by now, but was spending time setting up Open Office and retrieving old WIP photos for use on the projected RENDERING IN THE GRAND MANNER book, which is being looked at as am doing the rendering]...

The Overflowing Cup

Now am back with access to a computer, am able to again show another work in progress... however, due to the extensive absence, this is beginning sort of at midstream, as it was begun during the absence... the base grisaille is prussian blue, with the processed cyan as the sky... the tree is antelope brown, with black underneath in the burnt area... the container is sap green, with highlights of light green... the shading of the curtain fold is also processed cyan...

and a further going at the fold was done late last night...

note that the pen is using a crow quill nib, and the inks are all FW acrylic inks...
