Further composing thoughts...

I came upon another artist work, a turn of the century Japanese artist's wonderful night scene, seen below, and thought of how I might extend the right side of it [and moving the moon to this new section] into a new work inspired by this work, with a seated nude facing the moon, perhaps with an early coffee - which would be the theme/title... in pen and colored inks of course... so this may well be the next work seen here , and soon, as only need do the sky and rocks to be done with the color pencil work... something different, yes, but much like some of my works, and a nice bit of challenge for me...

new projects...

some may wonder at the lack of material here these past several days... am presently getting involved in a color pencil work, and with another pen and acrylic ink cliff city scape, which needs be sketched out before deciding whether to go with a 20"x40" size or another 36"x78"... further, have discovered Prismacolor has revived Deco Pink, so can at long last, for those who know of my "Bearly There" painting, be able to do the companion piece that would place the two across the doorway from each other - but that is another color pencil work, neither of which will be covered in this blog but in my Visioneer Windows blog... as soon as the sketch for "Morning Coffee" is worked out, will post here...
