The blocking in of all the major parts to this rendering are now done - next comes the refining, the detailing...

The back ground wall has also been given another layering, this time of sepia, filling in most the cracks left by from the first.....

Beginning the flag coloring - some of the stripes seem narrower than ought, but there is a lot of folding involved here, so it works out ...

 and finished outing the red........

Working on the background wall... first layering is burnt umber...

Getting the spool threads down [see have overlooked one], then the background wall is next... then the flag...

Transferred, the coloring begins, with antelope brown, lemon yellow, flesh, and flame orange per the spool woods... the threads, from the right, are light green, sap green, process yellow...

The rough draft and the more polished sketch, which will, after getting the loose spools rounded rightly, be transferred to the 4"x15" foamboard for rendering...
