Have finally stippled enough to be arriving at the 'breakout' point, where the sky begins to break up and white appears within, as seen on the left side... once get this section done, on both sides, down almost to the horizon, will, for all essential purposes, BE FINISHED!!!

"Fertile Worlds".....53
Finally have the between-the-branches part of the sky done, leaving only the far right area left to render...

"Fertile Worlds".....51
That tomorrow came and long went, but the pressing matter stayed, so only now was able to stipple a wee more, and hopefully will keep feeling ahead of the game, so can continue with this...

"Fertile Worlds".....50
Been away a few days due to other pressing matters, but am back on this again - not much because of hand pain problems, but a good bit into the last area between the branches... hopefully will have the rest finished tomorrow...

"Fertile Worlds".....49
A little further along... just another section and will be out from within the tree, and on the other side...
and sort of an aside - since the largeness of the rendering makes seeing some of the detail hard to do, this is a close-up of the right lower side, where the extreme perspective shows the distant shore... a cityscape... seeing this, I think, provides some clarity as to the theme/titling...

"Fertile Worlds".....48
And the left side of the mural sky is essentially now done... next, of course, is to carry it over to the right side...
the lower areas will be worked in after the whole of the sky is down, so that the composition can remain balanced, yet dynamic...

"Fertile Worlds".....47
Beginning to work on saving the bloop area... some of this involves scraping off the white and underlayer to a closer to canvas color...
then going back and forth over, mostly with the process cyan, then a diluted white, then when dry, more cyan... as well as filling in to the rest of the sky... note the white stippling of the rest of the blank parts has not yet begun - but intend it when this area is filled across from tree to edge...
and some more...

"Fertile Worlds".....46
Further along on the stippling, and already, due to too long with the pen, letting it slip and blooped some, have had to make a covering up with white - and as such will again be doing a 'save', probably tomorrow... note, tho, that have begun breaking up the solidity of the stippling, which will increase more the further down the sky I go, and where the white will be stippled into the open spaces - until it remains the 'color' used when near the horizon... thus hope to be able to cover the error...
