Working my way slowly down, am laying in some irregularity on the pump side... as for the dark area, am doing a short-cut of sorts, using short lines criss-crossing the area, then going back to the stippling to get the grading into light... this, like the other pump, is a homemade device, so there are sections of different metals and smoothness - to fit with the do-it-yourself idea...
