finally back to this, again, and am now into getting the boats down - plus further work on the building walls...

Further work on the rendering, shifting between the nib sizes, depending on where and what kind of texture desided...

Moving along, have switched to a larger nib for the fore building wall detailing, as can be seen on the cloth... and somewhat modified the texture from the other walls...

Nothing much to add, just showing more of what has been rendered since the last time...

Adding more here and there, and a close-up of some of the detailing textures... intend basically having most all the detailing in the grisaille, then just glaze colors over...

 Because was having problems with getting into thinking light out of dark for "Morals", have put it aside for awhile, and am on this one, a 30"x20" colored ink on foamboard painting....

Am beginning something new for me - am going to try my hand at a sort of imitation scratchboard, using white acrylic ink on black foamboard...   it is a still life of shoulder bags... at the present am using the crow quill nib...
