"Watered World" - 23

Am now more or less done with the right and middle parts of this painting, having added raw sienna to the colors of inks - there is just the window reflections of the sky yet to be done in those areas...

Then - on to the left side...............

"Watered World" - 22

Finished the right side, except for the retaining wall and the ground it retains...  that is red earth overlaid with antelope brown streaks on the lower right, and the door is Indian yellow with again antelope brown streak overlaid...

am now on the middle rear, block stippling the skyscrapers with process cyan, and using the next to sized nib, as the one used in doing the sky has worn... since is not as fine, and the stippling bolder, will go over with a round of white to mist it to the rear more...

"Watered World" - 20

Keeping at it - getting the windows almost done with their reflections, and coloring the various sections...  when done with this part, will then go to those open sections in the rear, then the shadowy aspects of the skyscrapers - then on to the rest of the work, the buildings on the left, and the waterway itself...

"Watered World" - 19

More progress, adding indian yellow and dark green to the ink colors...  the windows will reflect the sky when done, then will get on with the extended room on the far right, again glassing in the window and reflecting the sky, with darker areas indicating nearby buildings...

Then will get on with the left side, after first finishing off the distant buildings - this way will not be smearing the hand over pre-done areas before they dry [as can be seen on the right]...

"Watered World" - 18

Bits and pieces here and there, from florals to window boxes and building tops.... had to get more inks, and a couple days of rain, so a break of sorts.......  the window boxes are sepia, and red earth coated over with antelope brown...  floral is light green, sap green, and processed cyan.....

"Watered World" - 17

this time turned to the building next to the sap green end one, and used sepia for it... note that the framing of the indented sections is the same sepia as the outside of the building, using the same nib, and the same single layering - just different techniques in applying...  both, of course are darker because are in deeper shade...

"Watered World" - 16

Finished the woodwork using antelope brown on the lower right, and scraped the bottom of the sap green bottle getting the right building down...
