The blocking in of all the major parts to this rendering are now done - next comes the refining, the detailing...

The back ground wall has also been given another layering, this time of sepia, filling in most the cracks left by from the first.....

Transferred, the coloring begins, with antelope brown, lemon yellow, flesh, and flame orange per the spool woods... the threads, from the right, are light green, sap green, process yellow...

Exhibiting Takes up Time


but there are rewards - this 3'x2' won second place at the Senior Fest last week, a resounding success of pen/ink in competition with the more traditional oils and watercolors.....
